ATHLETIC TRAINER ASSISTANT’S CLUB
“ATA”
For students who are interested in learning about how injuries occur, how to correct them through the use of rehabilitative procedures, and how to respond to first aid emergencies.
ATA’s will also learn how to apply various types of taping techniques used to aid an athlete during competition.
Athletic trainer assistants will be responsible for the following:
*Attending all meetings, practices, and games.
*Setting up their team for practices/games and cleaning up at the conclusion of them.
*Enjoying the learning experience!
*ATA hours look great on a resume, and can also be counted as volunteer work. If an ATA works hard enough, they have the Opportunity of earning a Varsity, JV, or Freshman letter, depending on what level they work with.
