Final Exams 2007-2008
I. Overview
Exams will be administered over a seven day period. Seniors and all students involved in graduation practice (G.P. S.) will take their exams from 6/10 to 6/17. Graduation practice will be held on 6/18. All underclassmen will take exams from 6/13 to 6/18. There will be a modified schedule on Friday, June 13 to accommodate the period one exam for all students. There will be three early dismissal days June 16 – 18.
REMINDER: Any student who is absent the day of an exam will be required to provide proper documentation in order to receive a make-up exam.
II. Special exam sessions for seniors and other students involved in graduation practice
Tuesday 6/10, Wednesday 6/11, and Thursday 6/12
Seniors/ G.P.S. will be pulled out of their regularly scheduled classes to take the period 8/9, 9/10, and 11 exams from 8:00 to 10:00. A detailed list of students will be provided as exam time approaches.
· All students will report to first period at 7:45
· Attendance and announcements will be done during the first ten minutes of first period.
· Students who need to take an exam will be dismissed to the cafeteria at 7:55 via P.A. announcement.
· Teachers should send a packet for the students taking the exam with all testing materials to Mr. Preston by Friday 6/6/08. Exams will be returned to the teachers for grading.
· Each packet should be labeled with Student Name, Period, Teacher Name, and Subject.
· Each packet should contain all materials needed for the test including: test, answer sheet, calculator, scrap paper and pencils.
III. Exams during early dismissal days
Monday 6/16 through Wednesday 6/18 will be early dismissal days for exams. · Period one will be used for attendance purposes. · All students will report to period one before going to exams. · Please follow the schedule below:
