February 22-23, 2012 Thursday night, the Guidance Department will be hosting a workshop for parents and high school seniors on how to successfully complete applications for college and university financial aid. This meeting will take place in the high school cafeteria at 6:00 p.m. Members of the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority will there to guide parents and seniors through the financial aid application process.
There will be a student council meeting on Thursday during Period 1. Please remember to wear your shirts.
“Attention all student’s! Do not forget to buy your tickets for the Variety Show before or after school in front of the auditorium or during your lunch! Tickets are only $5 in advance and $7 at the door. Be sure to join your friends as they sing, dance and perform for all.”
Attention Juniors: There will be a Junior prom committee meeting on Monday, February 27th after school in B208. Come with song ideas!
Here’s your HSPA and NJPASS reminder! All freshmen and sophomores will be taking the NJPASS test on March 6-8. This test is extremely important for your English and Math placement. In addition, all juniors will be taking the HSPA statewide test March 6-8. You must pass the HSPA in order to graduate! It is time to get prepared!
And to get prepared, HSPA Tutorials will be offered until February 29th. Morning sessions run from 6:30am-7:30am. Afternoon sessions run from 2:30pm-3:30pm. There is no cost for the program. See your counselor for more information.
